Guys! I need help! If you live in Turku, or know someone who live there, you can save my nerves! I'm writing course-paper on the Finnish mass-media, years 1899-1904 (time of Bobrikov). And I know, that in two numbers of Turun Historiallinen Arkisto (№28 and 31) I could find all the information I need... But here, in Moscow, I can not find it! So may be I can ask someone to go the library and try to find and copy it for me? I will do in turn something good! ;)

I'm searching for a birthday present for a Finnish friend of mine. I think a volume of poetry in Finnish would be perfect for him, but I've been searching the bookstores over here and haven't been able to find any of my favorite poets (esim. Mary Oliver, Walt Whitman, EE Cummings, Yeats) translated into Finnish. I might buy a Finnish-language book of Pablo Neruda poems. But I wanted to ask your advice: what is your favorite book of Finnish-language poetry? It doesn't matter if it was originally in Finnish or if it was translated from another language.

Hello all,

I am searching for Finnish language translations of poetry by Pablo Neruda, William Butler Yeats, and Mary Oliver (I have a few specific poems in mind). I have been searching online with no luck so far, and I don't have access to Finnish libraries.

Can anyone tell me where I can find Finnish versions of poems by these poets, if I am not in Finland?

Hei!

My name is Mafalda and I am a 21 years old Portuguese. I will be studying in Helsinki next semester and I am trying to find a bedroom. However, since I can only understand 5% of all the online ads, I thought about asking if any of you knows anyone who is searching for tenants! I am searching for a bedroom that won't cost more than 230 euros and that, ideally, will be in the city center or next to it.

Kiitos :)

Mafalda

Hei!

Siunauxin,

Could anyone direct me to a comprehensive (English) website on Finland's immigration policies/procedures? I'd much appreciate it. ^_^
